I spoke with a friend of his as to why he left and this was his comment: "Anthony's body became the issue with him performing at the level he performed at. His shoulder was giving him all sorts of problems. The amount and level of training that it takes to perform at the level that he did takes a HUGE toll on your body. Anthony is the kind of person that, if he cannot be the ABSOLUTE BEST in his field, then he does not want to even do it. He told me personally that Cirque offered him the opportunity to be with them for the rest of his life. When he did not want to perform any more, then they would hire him as a coach/trainer. He had the opportunity to stay with Cirque for much, much longer, but my guess is that he wanted to own his own company and be his own boss. The guys been performing at a level that very few of us can even understand for Most all of his life."
