Cirque's record on Broadway has not been good.
I've wanted to see a return of Iris's basic acts and music but Paramour sounds less than wonderful to me.

I also thought the show was about a young actress who had to decide between being the gold digger mistress of a studio executive or the lover of a struggling young composer, not "the tale of a beautiful young poet forced to choose between love and art."
Personally I did not like the tune or lyrics to the first song I've heard from Paramour.
I wish Cirque and United Airlines well in any case.
