It probably won't help, but everyone who wants Corteo to stay open longer in a tent, or reopen in an arena should email Cirque's new owners TPG at info@tpg.com. The company is privately owned and run by three gentlemen. It can't hurt and it may help.

Tpg won't care donnna. They run so may companies that Corteo is just a small blip in one of their smaller companies. According to one of my friends who was a rigger said the general size and shape of the show just won't work. Plus all of the overhead automation would be too much to assemble and dissaemble every few days.

The points raised by the rigger are valid. BUT Apathy is self defeating and accomplishes nothing This is a company that prides itself on taking companies that are deemed in a slow inevitable decline spiral and revitalizing them. They pride themselves on being mavericks. If you think it is a good idea that Corteo closes don't do anything, if you care an email only takes a few minutes to compose.
I'd like to see Corteo stay open in a tent soooo I sent an email.

The closing of Corteo is a minor loss, in my opinion. I was more upset over the closing of Saltimbanco, Alegria, and soon Quidam. Its had a good run under the Big Top. Let it end with dignity and be happy it won't suffer a slow death in the arena.
