THIS IS NOT A REVIEW NOR A CRITIQUE. These are the changes Amaluna had had since European tour has started. The moon item that usually was used by the moon goddess was taken and the moon goddess only uses the hoop now when she appears in the show. Hoop Diving (with a new song) is replacing watermeteors-icarian games, which was cut out of the show. The Trio Straps are now during the storm section instead of the final act. New clowns, new kind of comedy act. They shortned the waterbowl romantic scene between Romeo and Miranda unlike the DVD. Uneven Bars has a new song (quite instrumental as there are no voices nor vocals included) Duo Trapeze was only used in the last cities of the North American tour, not included in Europe. Closure act is an Icarian Games act performed by several men (which I found weird since now it seems there is the same quantity of women and men and not a 70% female show as it was intended) they play former watermeteors-icarian games song in a different key, sounds like the CD version. I think the guys that play hoop diving also play the final act, so they open and close the show but with different costumes of course. There's also a rotational act 'Diabolo' performed by woman (unicycles song used) And last but not least they shortned the curtain call, not as long as the DVD version. Some of these changes can be seen in this footage recorded in Belgium (September 2015): youtu.be/Jv1fbt4Erv4Tightrope only lasted a year as it was contracted. Unicyles lasted a year and 3 months around. Later they kept a tightrope girl that did a rotational hula hoop act, with Unicyles song.

Thank you Koozimando. These changes may explain why Amaluna is getting such negative reviews in London. Very small changes can affect a production enormously.
Thanks for finding that video too. I will eagerly await reviews by Cirque fans who are planning to see Amaluna in London.

Seems 50/50 on the male to female ratio. Sad

That's very disappointing to hear. I've been hoping to see the show again when and if it comes back to the states, but this makes me sad. Are these permanent changes?
